SYSTEM INTEGRATION on Aircraft and Space/Launch Vehicles
Chairpersons: Christophe Bonnal (Cnes), Jacques Gigou (Esa), Marc Maurel (Airbus)
This symposium is concerned with multidisciplinary and integration problems (subjects where separate disciplines interact in synergy). Papers are solicited in the fields of MDO (optimisation tools and strategies, sensitivity analysis, artificial intelligence), fluid-structure-GNC-thermal interaction, mission/trajectories, advanced or new concepts, actuators, energy storage (fuel cells), vehicle comfort (acoustics and vibration, air-conditioning), qualification and certification (unmanned vehicle - manned vehicle).
FLIGHT PHYSICS for aircraft and launch vehicles including re-entry bodies
Chairpersons: Jean Muylaert (Estec), David Hills (Airbus), Mikhail Ivanov (ITAM), Doyle Knight (Rutgers Univ.), Philippe Reijasse (Onera), Jason Reese (Strathclyde Univ.), Igor Lipatov (TsAGI) Â
This Symposium covers classical aerodynamics, thermodynamics and aerothermochemistry, external flow over aeronautical & space vehicles and internal flow through vehicle propulsion systems. Papers are solicited in the fields of boundary layer transition, experimental diagnostics, shock interactions, flow control by energy deposition, simulation tools, new configurations & applications, MEMS and nanotechnologies, continuum methods for rarefied flows.
FLIGHT DYNAMICS AND GNC for Space and Aeronautical applications

This symposium covers the applications of novel analytical and experimental methods for the analysis and prediction of the flight dynamics of civil and military airplanes, drones, launch vehicles. Papers are solicited in the fields of control, mission analysis & flight management, modelling, simulation & tests, navigation, digital avionics, data fusion image
processing for navigation, onboard decision and autonomy, sensors.
Chairpersons: Wolfgang Luber (EADS-MAS), Peter Lee (Imperial College), Tasadduq Khan (Onera), Michel Berdoyes (Snecma)
Profound improvements can be introduced in aerospace structures and engines through innovative materials, processing technologies, structural design and analysis.
Massive introduction of fiber-reinforced organic composites has become a reality and the introduction of other composites is progressing in the engines. Papers are solicited in the fields of materials and technologies (metallic and composite), structural design including design principles, manufacturing and assembly of  composite and metallic structures as well as structural dynamic/static  analysis, fatigue and fracture, impact and shock response, aero-elastic design and testing methodologies under both static and dynamic loading. Service performance and life assessment, as well as morphing structures are also included.
Chairpersons: Luigi De Luca (Politecnico di Milano), Oskar Haidn (DLR), Oleg Gorshkov (KeRC), Paul kuentzman (Onera)
This symposium covers new developments in engines and propellants modelling and testing. Papers are solicited in the fields of: combustion, novel ingredients synthesis, new propellants manufacturing methods, propellant injection, ignition and combustion, combustion oscillations, new launcher and OTV concepts (scramjets, PDE, solar sails, electric, beamed energy), experimental techniques and modelling.
